WORK INSPECTION IN R.C.C. WORK, INTERNAL PLASTER,BRICK WORK & EXTERNAL PLASTER

WORK INSPECTION  - Building Civil work                                                    

R.C.C. work

1. Soffit formwork to slab removed after 3days (Prop to slab spanning 4.5 & above    4.5m to be removed after 7 & 14days respectively)
 2. Soffit formwork to beam removed after 7days (Prop to slab spanning 6 & above   6m to be removed after 14 & 28days respectively)
3 No dharphallis/other inserts are left in slab sofit.
4 GI wire projecting from beam surface is removed.
5 Bulged portion of beam surface is dressed, repaired    (using Polymer modified  mortar)  and cured by  curing properly.
6 Offset of dharphallis/steel plate is dressed / chiseled.
7 Honey combing found and shown to engineer(propose NDT as per severity.
8 Honey combing is repaired with chemicals.
9 Repaired portion of honey combing is cured using Curing Compound
10 Hacking of column is done properly (at spacing of 1/2" to 1").
11 Hacking of beam side and bottom is done properly.
12 Tie Road Hole Plugged
13 Hacking of slab and chajja is also done properly.

Brick work

 1  All door frames are in plumb.
2 All brick walls are in plumb.
3 Diagonal dimensions of all rooms are equal or (+/-) 1" deviation.
4 Gap between beam bottom and top of brick wall is packed with metal no 2.
5 All joints of brick masonry are properly raked.
6 No nylon thread is projecting from brick masonry.
7 Holdfasts (6no) are grouted in concrete.
8 Floors are cleaned after work is over.
9 Type of bond as specified
10 RCC Band in half brick wall as per requirement
11 7 days curing is done to brick wall.

Internal Plaster

 1 Plastering is done in plumb.
2 All walls are in right angle ( ± 1/2")
3 Plaster on wall is cut straight 9" above floor level.
4 Curing is done at least for 7 days.
5 Floors are cleaned after work is over.
6 Door frames & window sills  are cleaned properly after plaster.
7 No hollowness observed in Tap test
8 Plastering date is marked on walls.
9 No cracks are visible on plaster surface, specially on RCC member.


External Plaster

 1. All external joint are filled up properly.
2 External elevation is checked with elevation plan and approved by Project Engineer.
3 No Gabda is made in external wall for errection of scaffolding.
4 1st coat ( backing coat) Plastering with ratio of 1: 4     CM mixed with waterproofing compound is done.
 5 2nd coat plastering ( Final coat ) of 1:3 CM mixed with Waterproofing compound                    and fiber
6 5 to 7 days curing is done after final coat of plastering.
7 Nails are removed from external wall after plastering work is over
8 All window opening are is one line and no offset is        seen from 1st floor window to  top floor window.
  9 No cracks are visible on plaster surface.
10 No unevenness and patch work is seen after final coat of plaster.
