WORK INSPECTION  - WOOD WORK                                                                    

Wooden door frame

1 Door frame is fixed in plumb.
2 Six Nos of hold fast are grouted in concrete.
3 Wooden pins are fixed at the joint of horizontal and vertical member.
4 Horizontal wooden patti is fixed at the bottom of door frame.
5 Cross wooden patti is fixed at top corner of both side of door frame.
6 Horns of frame are cut after 1/2" Projection.
7 Coal tar/black Japan is applied on all three side (wall side) of door frame.


Wooden door Shutter

  1 Equal gap of 1/8" is kept (3 side) between door frame and shutter.
2 No bend shutter is fixed to door frame.
3 Shutter is flushed with door frame from inside.
4 Lipping Patti to door shutter is fixed with fevicol and no gap is Seen between shutter and lipping patti.
5 Mortise lock & hinges fixed to door shutter are of approved quality.
6 All 48 Nos. of screws are fixed in hinges to shutter and frame are screwed only ( fixing of screw with hammer is not allowed).
7 No chipping in rebate of door frame is done.
8 4 No. of hinges are fixed to main door shutter and 3 No. of hinges are fixed to internal door shutter.
